- Acca
- A single bet that links two or more selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Asian Handicap

- Bankroll
- The total amount of money a bettor sets aside for betting.
- Bet Builder
- An online tool that lets you combine multiple markets from a single match into one custom bet.
- Betting Exchange
- A platform where bettors can back and lay outcomes against each other, acting as both bookmaker and punter.
- Bookmaker Margin
- The built‑in profit margin the bookmaker adds to the odds, expressed as a percentage.
- Both Teams To Score (BTTS)
- A market where you wager on whether each side will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible match outcomes (win/draw, draw/away, or win/home) in one wager.
- Draw No Bet
- A wager that returns your stake if the match ends in a draw, otherwise you win on the selected team.
- Dutching
- The practice of splitting a stake across several outcomes so that the profit is the same regardless of which one wins.
- Edge
- An advantage a bettor believes they have over the bookmaker’s odds, often based on analysis or inside information.
- Fixed Odds
- The odds set by a bookmaker at the time of bet placement, remaining unchanged regardless of later market moves.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A market that asks you to predict both the score at halftime and the final result of the match.
- In-Play Betting
- The ability to place bets after a match has started, with odds that update as the game progresses.
- Kelly Criterion
- A mathematical formula that calculates the optimal size of a bet relative to your perceived edge.
- Lay Bet
- A bet that a particular outcome will NOT happen, essentially acting as the bookmaker on a betting exchange.
- Odds Comparison
- The process of checking the odds offered by different bookmakers to find the best possible price for a bet.
- Over/Under
- A wager on whether the total number of goals (or points) in a match will be above or below a set figure.
- Parlay
